So it is the summer again. Well it has been summer for over a month now and I find myself feeling like I need to do something to impact the world. A lot of my friends are either on mission trips or working in camps. What can I do? I ask myself. I am going to blog about anything and everything I feel relevant. So here we go.
Over the past couple of days, it has been hard to escape the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett but particularly MJ. He was only 50 yet his greatness reached and transcended different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. I cannot say that I was much of a fan of his personality but it is hard not to acknowledge his greatness and his influence. This brings me to my point today. How do you want to be remembered when you die?
When you die, will you be remembered as a legend or will you be a nonentity? The choice is yours. You start defining yourself now. You cannot worry about the past or the future because well you have no control over those. You only have control over what you do today; we all make mistakes but it is how you learn from them that makes you a better person hence, do me a favor and stop dwelling in the past instead take control! I don't know about you all but when I leave this world, I want to be able to have touched millions of lives. It all starts today. :)
